At the core of Church Hill Productions is the Founder and multi-award winning Film maker/producer Thomas J. Churchill. This native New Yorker has been involved in film since the tender young age of 7 when he along with approximately 400 others tried out for the role of TJ Flynn in the Box Office sensation "The Champ" starring Jon Voight. The role was awarded to fellow New York native Rick Schroder but the film bug had already bitten young Thomas and it wasn't long before he started his film career with a passion that has only been accomplished by a select few. |

| At seven, he knew he wanted be in the world of motion pictures. Wanted to create worlds within the pages of his writing for all to see. It was at that young, impressionable age that Churchill first saw "Star Wars: A New Hope," and was immediately "sucked into the world of filmmaking." He said, "The love story, the plot, the adventure...Star Wars had it all. I loved it. From that point on, I knew what I wanted to do. It was over for me and I never turned back." "Sure you get fustrated at times and put it to bed...But it keeps waking me up everytime I do.." He added. At Church Hill productions his company he founded (yes a play on words on his last name). He writes, produces and directs most of their slate of films, he also handles the duties of distribution and marketing. Although he's been a renaissance movie man for half his life Churchill shot his first movie as a teenager in 1988 using a camera that he begged his father to buy him. The film, called "The War Master," was stocked in several local video stores in Queens, NY. Distributed by Churchill himself opened the doors for him. Churchill has become a "cult icon," in New York. |

| At the age of 18 Thomas J. Churchill's The War Master was written, produced, directed, and starred Churchill. The film went on to win his first Award for filmmaking. This is where it all begins... A summer job and a passion for the arts, young Thomas Churchill worked hard and bought a camera and with scripts written and a vision he created a 52 minute award winning masterpiece. This would be the first of many independant releases for Thomas J. Churchill. Throughout the years Thom has written, produced, directed, and even starred in many movies and he has only begun to show the world what he has in store.
